Sharing some of my notes from Songs 3…
When Jesus took me thru song of songs…
He told me “There are deep revelations in Song of Songs. Just as the book of Revelation is a whole revelation of Christ in you. So is Song of Songs.”
It’s so similar to Rev, just different imagery.
Interesting the the 2 books (rev and songs) He has given me a lot of understanding of, are the 2 books I never wanted to read! Lol He showed me how similar they are!
Jesus plants His garden in our hearts. A fountain of gardens. A well of living water springing up. Words that are Spirit and Life and bring freedom to others.
Christ in you is the song of songs!
The song of songs (Christ in you), which is Solomon’s (peace). Song of Solomon 1:1
Christ in you is peace with God. Christ in you is the “new song” from Revelation. Gods Song is His Spirit. 💕
My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up (from the dead), my love, my fair one, and come away(in Christ) For, lo, the winter (death) is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth (Christ growing His garden in our hearts); the time of the singing of birds (preaching of the gospel) is come, and the voice of the turtle (Holy Spirit speaking thru a person) is heard in our land;Song of Solomon 2:10-12
By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not. I will rise (from the dead/ be born again) now, and go about the city (New Jerusalem/ in Christ) in the streets (being led by the Spirit) , and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not. The watchmen (Children of God) that go about the city (in Christ) found me (with their message of truth): to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth? It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth (seeking Him): I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house (Christ is come in the flesh/ baptism of the Spirit), and into the chamber of her that conceived me (the flesh). I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please. Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke (furnace of affliction/ trials that produce faith), perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant? Behold his bed (in Christ), which is Solomon’s (peace with God); threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel. They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night. King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon. He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem (Jesus building His City in His people). Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.Song of Solomon 3:1-11
